My friends and I have discussed this discussion. I read it is very rare to contract hepatitis forms of sex, to tell my friends, is usually transferred through sexual intercourse instead of blood (???)

Your friend is wrong. It is unlikely to be transmitted from one sex, but always a good idea to use protection. It is transmitted the same way AIDS is transmitted, for most, and AIDS is transmitted through blood more easily than anything else.
